Siripi Innovation Center is a registered community-based technology development and business hub aimed at addressing the economic and environmental challenges of rural communities especially refugees and host communities in Uganda. It operates as a social business enterprise to balance income generation objective with community impact.
The concept of Siripi Innovation Center was first conceived and tested in Siripi village, Rhinocamp refugee settlement, Terego district since 2019.
From this year (2026), it is being scaled to two more centers in Ocea (Rhino camp) and Nyumanzi settlement (Adjumani district) in collaboration with NRC.
